My MacBook

After purchasing the thing, Rachel and I continued to shop, and get food, etc. So I was unable to open the thing up and start playing with it for hours.

They were running a slick deal: If you are a college student, and if you buy a MacBook, you can have a free Ipod nano. I decided to get an Ipod video instead, and I got the whole discount of the Nano off of the Video. So a black MacBook, a black Ipod video, and a pretty sizeable student discount. I'm glad Rachel is a student.

SO here is the box.

Apple! I had to quick run and grab my polo shirt and my emo music. Anyone else want a 5 dollar coffee?

This was my home workspace for a while.

I ordered 2G of ram for this machine. For some reason, it required a box this large.

Here is the RAM

Here is the bottom of my laptop.

Here it is with the ram guard removed.

Now the new RAM is slid in, and the guard is replaced.

The battery is put back in, and we power on.
