Cubs vs. Reds 2007

So before we start, I wanted to point out that I had dyed my hair red. I liked it. And while at the game, I just looked like an over-zealous fan.. which of course I am.

Here are the tickets. We (Mindy, Becky, Tim, and I) are on our way. We've got bleacher seats, and we are excited. Also, we're stopping at Aurelio's for pizza before hand, so that officially makes today the best day ever.

And here I am at Wrigley. You see how the red hair completes the look? Yeah, it works. The bleachers were pretty packed, but we still found some good seats with a great view.

There you can see some of the new construction in the bleacher area. It looks quite good. Also, it's getting dark.

The Lights are on, and the place is packed.

Man on second, and we're behind...

Flash forward a little bit, and the Cubs make an amazing come from behind victory in the bottom of the 9th. With the bases loaded Mark DeRosa hit a crazy infield single to score the go ahead run, and the place erupted. DeRosa was mobbed in a pile out on the field.

Cubs Win, Cubs Win!

Ron, Mindy, and Becky celebrate the Cubs win! I've been to quite a few games, but I've never heard Wrigley that loud for that long ever. They played the "Hey Chicago What do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today" song all the way through at least 5 or 6 times, and the fans were still going nuts. It was an awesome, awesome game.
