Chicago with Maryrose

We exited the train at the last stop, right by Millenium Park. This is part of the park.

They have an ice skating rink.

And a giant metal dealie. I'm told they do concerts or something there.

This is a very tall building. Those familiar with Chicago will know that... this building is .. in Chicago.

The Wrigley Building

This is the Hancock building. We decided to go there, and go up to the top to see the view. Maryrose and I both had been told by other people that the trip is to just go to the bar or restaurant, and then you don't have to pay for the observatory, which is just a bit above them.

Now we are inside the Hancock building, at the 95th or 96th floor I think. this is the bar. We are looking for a seat. Outside, a supernova is happening, blinding all those around just before destroying them.

And now we have a seat.. and by a window no less. The view is spectacular, and while we sat and waited for our drinkis, I took many pictures.

I'm not sure if you can see it, but the drinks are expensive.

You can see the Sears Tower in the distance. It was a little gray/cloudy out, so visibility wasn't great. But you were also seeing quite a long ways away.

In the distance is Soldier Field and the Field Museum & Shedd Aquarium.

We left the Hancock building, and began walking down the street. Here's a street puppet thinger.
