Babysitting Steven

Here's Steven, and Swac. Turns out Swac relates well to kids around 2+, which made my job a ton easier. Swac, Steven, and I spend some time stacking things, then knocking them over (to Steven's great amusement). We counted the Elmos in that book, then made up names for the people we didn't recognize.

Steven has now discovered the camera. From this point on, if he saw me, he'd strike some sort of pose. He's a cute kid.

Josh came over for a while, and so He, Swac, Steven, and I played some mario Kart 64. Steven particularly enjoyed watching the monkey (Donkey Kong.. Josh's guy) getting shot at and knocked around.
Steven is the monkey going to win?
"No.. not the monkey."

Anyway, once that was over with, he picked out a Bug's Life, and we watched that.

Then Kristin came over. yea!

Steven was running around for a while.. then we decided it was time fo rfood, so I ran out and got us all McDonalds. When I returned, Sponge Bob was on.

Steven made sure we all knew that the toy from the happy meal was his.

He managed to injure himself on his straw. But he's a tough guy, and managed to pull through.

Tv failed to hold his attention.

But the camera still seemed to have some control over him.

We're nearing the end of the evening now. He's watching the Redsox game with us. Turns out, he wanted neither team to win.

He did like wearing his new toy as a hat, though.

He's growing less fond of the camera now though.

it's pretty dark, and hard to see, but now he's banging his head against the couch. Turns out, it is pretty fun.

he's now flashing the devil horns.

Steven and Matt had a bit of a competition with the soccer pillow. Despite giant yawns, Steven insisted he was not tired.

We're now waiting for Jeff to show up (He called and said he'd be about 15 minutes.... Steven was ready to go, and started packing up his things.)

So before he left, he gave us all hugs.
