Trivia #6

I give to you the newest trivia:

I need to go to the store to buy some ingredients to cook with, so I starting writing them all down:

  • Butter
  • Eggs
  • Cumin
  • Baking Soda
  • Lemon Juice
  • Cashews (unsalted)
  • Oranges
  • Vinegar
  • Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Vegetable Shortening

Now your question: What was I making?

Trivia #4

This one made me feel like an idiot.

A bus leaves Chicago to go to New York at noon. A car leaves New York to go to Chicago an hour later, and the car is going 15 mph slower than the bus. When they meet, which is farther from New York?

Trivia #3

Okay, next one. This took me a little while, but I was also tired, and without coffee, so it’s possible that it’s easy and I’m dumb… more than possible, actually.

Here’s the situation. I have 3 coins: a penny, a nickel, and a silver dollar. You are to speak one sentence, and if what you said was true, I will give you one of the coins [more or less at random]. If you say something that is not true, you get nothing. What is a statement you can make that would guarantee that you got the silver dollar?

Trivia #2

Here’s another trivia question I liked… in that it made me feel stupid

I’m making grilled cheese. I have a pan that can only fit 2 grilled cheese at a time, and each grilled cheese needs to be cooked for 30 seconds on each side. How can I make 3 grilled cheese in 1 and a half minutes?
