Memory will rust and erode into lists.
- Leave their shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot.
- Refusing to use their turn signal when changing lanes or turning.
- Leaving their cell phone ringer on loud when in a public place, even after it rang.
- Littering, especially out of the window of their car.
- Failing to obey basic traffic laws while biking on the street.

Maybe it'd be easiest if you just thought of Detroit as a giant Pinata. I giant, dirty, scummy, money-sucking pinata that needs to be whacked with a stick several times until the sweet sweet goodness of incompetence pours out.
