It’s been a little while, but the work on the ship continues. I’ve added quite a few pictures. The keel is finished, and I’m now adding on to the deck. I believe the bending of pieces is nearly done, and we’re about to get into the more intricate tiny-hole-drilling and mini-pieces-gluing steps.

That sure looks like an awful lot of work. Wouldn’t it be easier just to make a REAL boat? It might take less time.
Oh, I have your money for that “favor” you provided for me the other night (*wink wink, nudge nudge, inappropriate sexual innuendo… etc)
Rob… try thinking first..
How is a real boat going to fit on my mantle?
Also, I told you to leave the money on the nightstand.
I had a dream (really, not making this up)
In said dream I was playing softball. A pop fly was hit to me and the short stop started SCREAMING AT ME. He kept yelling “I got it! I got it!” over and over again. He ran over to me and I got out of his way even though it was coming right to me. He then caught the ball and got right in my face.
“I TOLD you I got it,” he said.
“Uh, yeah, that’s why I moved,” I responded.
He was all pissed, off, but I couldn’t tell why. Then I woke up.
Not sure about the meaning, but for some reason I immediately thought that you would want to know about it for some reason.
Three ideas:
1. Buy a 10:1 scale model of a fireplace mantle. Put together a real boat for the oversized mantle.
2. Buy a 1:10 scale model of a fireplace mantle. Buy a 2×4, and make tiny little splinters out of it, and make a 1:1000 scale model of das boot.
3. Build a scale model of the world’s largest bottle; put das boot inside it to keep it from being boring.
