Brain Quiz #13

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him.

A few days later she killed her sister. Why?

  1. The guy was the minister who did the funeral thing and she wanted to meet him again so she killed her sister to achieve that

  2. The woman thought that the man was a friend of the family, therefore killing her sister in hopes the man would come to the funeral.

  3. She killed her sister hoping he would show up to the funeral. I feel like I’m almost cheating on this one since I believe we spoke of this at Pickwick.

  4. Alright, this one made the E-mail rounds before, but I will take the points for a correct answer…

The woman figured that if the man went to her mother’s funeral he would also be at her sister’s, and she could get the info then.

  5. All I’ve come up with is that she believes Mr. Dream Guy will be at her sister’s funeral as well.

But that doesn’t make much sense, because he’d either have to be a relative or friend of the family, in which case she could just ask her sister (if she think’s he’ll come to her funeral, she must think her sister knows him at least a little); or he’d have to have been at the funeral for professional reasons–minister, gravedigger, florist, or something–in which case she could contact the relevant organization to track him down.
Oh, wait, third possibility: he’s a funeral junkie, like in Harold and Maude. But then she should just go back to that cemetery a few times and she’d probably run into him.
In short, if he can be relied upon to come to both funerals, he can be located by nonviolent means.

Also, if he’s worth sororicide, why didn’t she ask for his freaking number the first time?

But I can’t think of anything better, so there it is.
